Last updated: 2026. These Terms & Conditions govern your booking with Enjoy Peru Holidays EIRL, operator of the Rainbow Mountain Full Day tours, RUC 20600007204, Lic. N° 221-2024, GERCETUR, based in Cusco, Peru.

1. The Operator

Rainbow Mountain Full Day is operated by Enjoy Peru Holidays EIRL, a certified tour operator registered in the National Directory of Tourism Providers of the Cusco Regional Government. We operate these tours directly and also coordinate with authorised partner operators who maintain the same standards of quality and service. Please note that the Classic, + Red Valley and ATV plans are shared group departures.

2. Bookings and Payment

Bookings are made online through our secure checkout, processed by WeTravel. Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your spot. WeTravel applies its own processing fees at checkout, which are the passenger’s responsibility and are separate from our tour price. You receive an instant confirmation email, followed by a message the evening before your tour confirming your exact pickup time.

3. What Is Included

The price includes pickup and drop-off in downtown Cusco, round-trip tourist transport, a bilingual guide (English–Spanish), breakfast in Cusipata, an Andean buffet lunch, trekking poles on the hiking plans or the quad on the ATV plan, and an oxygen tank and first aid kit on board. Pickup applies to accommodation located in central Cusco, subject to vehicle access; otherwise a nearby meeting point is arranged instead. 4. Entrance Tickets and Community Fees

The Vinicunca entrance ticket is set and collected by the communities that manage the mountain and is not included in the tour price. On the hiking plans it may be added in the booking form or paid on site; on the quad plans it may be added in the booking form for US$10 on the Classic route or US$20 on the Red Valley route, which covers both entrances, or paid on site. The Red Valley is managed separately and charges its own entrance fee, payable in cash on site only. Ticket purchases made through our platform include administrative fees and applicable Peruvian taxes on top of the official entrance price.

5. The Red Valley Extension

The Red Valley route available on the hiking plans is optional and self-guided. The guide indicates the path and the meeting point at Vinicunca but does not accompany travellers into the valley, and remains with the main group. It is recommended only for travellers in good physical condition, as it adds approximately one hour of walking at over 4,900m. Travellers who choose it do so at their own responsibility and are expected to rejoin the group at the agreed point and time.

6. Optional Services Provided by Third Parties

Saddle horses and local motorbikes offered along the trail are provided by members of the local communities, not by Enjoy Peru Holidays EIRL. They are contracted and paid directly with them on site, are not part of the tour price, and we assume no responsibility for these services.

7. Changes and Cancellations by the Traveller

8. Changes by the Operator

On occasion we may need to adjust the itinerary, the pickup time, the meal venue or the route because of weather, road conditions, site closures, strikes or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make every reasonable effort to notify you in advance and to offer the closest equivalent experience.

9. Altitude, Health and Traveller Responsibilities

These tours reach 5,090m above sea level. Travellers are responsible for arriving at the agreed pickup point on time, carrying valid identification, and disclosing any relevant health conditions or mobility needs before the tour. We recommend at least two days of acclimatisation in Cusco beforehand, and travellers with heart or respiratory conditions should consult a doctor before booking. If a traveller is not present at the agreed pickup time, this is considered a no-show and is non-refundable, since the reservation has already incurred operational costs. Personal travel insurance is not included and is strongly recommended.

10. Liability

Enjoy Peru Holidays EIRL takes reasonable care in the operation of these tours, including certified guides, an oxygen tank and a first aid kit on board. We are not liable for losses, injuries or delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, altitude-related illness, road closures, community decisions affecting access, or third-party service providers.
