What each plan costs, what is already inside the price, and exactly which items you still pay for on the day.
Our hiking plans cost US$29 per person — both of them, because Classic and + Red Valley are the same tour with the same services. The quad tours cost US$70 single or US$130 double on the Rainbow Mountain route, and US$75 or US$135 with the Red Valley. Every one of those prices already includes pickup in downtown Cusco, round-trip tourist transport, breakfast, a buffet lunch and a certified bilingual guide. The only thing you pay separately is the entrance ticket, which is collected by the community that manages the mountain.

💡 Note: automatic and manual quads cost exactly the same, and the double quad is shared by two riders rather than charged twice.

A US$20 listing usually becomes a US$40 day once the extras appear. Ours does not.
No surcharge for collecting you from your hotel or Airbnb in the centre of Cusco.
Breakfast in Cusipata and a buffet lunch are inside the price, not add-ons at the door.
Only the entrance ticket, and we tell you about it before you book rather than at the trailhead.
The ticket for Vinicunca is collected by the community that manages the mountain, and it is not part of the tour price on any plan. On the quad plans you can add it in the booking form: US$10 on the Rainbow Mountain route, or US$20 on the Red Valley route, which covers both entrances. On the hiking tours you can add it at checkout or pay it on site on the day. The Red Valley has its own separate fee, always paid on site in cash. Full detail on the entrance fee page.
Booking is online through WeTravel, our secure checkout, with Visa, Mastercard or Amex. You receive an instant confirmation email with your pickup time. Bring cash in soles for the entrance, the Red Valley fee if you take it, and a horse if you need one — there is no card payment on the mountain.
Vinicunca is the most affordable of the three coloured mountains near Cusco: US$29 against US$40 for Palcoyo and US$49 for Pallay Punchu, both of which involve longer drives and smaller groups. See the three-way comparison.
